We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Site Operations Specialist, HR to join our vibrant and international company. This role is essential for overseeing daily administrative duties and providing HR support to local employees and managers.
This position requires strong skills, independence, and a proactive approach. You will have the autonomy to manage your tasks while keeping an eye on process improvements.
Your responsibilities will include scheduling, arranging business trips, handling travel plans and calendar entries, processing expense claims, compiling and circulating meeting agendas, and recording meeting minutes as needed.
Additionally, you will support the Scientific Director/Site Head with organizing critical meetings and events, ensuring all logistical details are meticulously planned and executed.
You will also participate in budgeting and support the Finance team when needed in the UK to meet Finnish specifications.
On the HR side, you will coordinate recruitment activities, administer HR processes, support the implementation of HR tools, provide day-to-day support to managers and employees, and manage internal communication.
Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with teams across various regions and on a global scale to ensure conformity and precision in HR and administrative processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a relevant education.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and understanding collective agreements.
- Sound knowledge of HR administration processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to adapt and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Independence and a proactive working style.
- Good knowledge of IT and HRIS applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English and Finnish.
